Ground Level Panel of representatives from Denotified and Nomadic Tribes in the context of the Sustainable Development Goals

While the Indian Constitution, in 1950, directed successive governments to ensure Food, Shelter, Health, Education and Livelihood to all citizens, many have been left behind; to whom these guaranteed never reached. Denotified and nomadic tribes are unable to access these, and are now living on the margins of Indian society because of the discrimination they face due to their identities. Members of the Ground Level Panel identified many impediments that must be removed for this section to be wholly included in Indian citizenry; and get access to rights and entitlements.
